    hidden-perceptions:

glad natsu isnt forgiving endvore. less glad that endvore wants to ‘welcome rei home.’ what does he plan on doing to ‘make up for it’ bc honestly unless hes gonna report himself, go to jail, and leave the house for rei and the kids without him i wont stand for it

Endeavor isn’t planning on welcoming Rei home. He told Fuyumi to welcome her home in the new house he’s going to build for her and the kids. And he’ll be staying in his own house alone.

ig ill be more clear. what hes doing, building a home, etc, intentionally or not sets up an expectation of eventual forgiveness. in terms of the bnha universe ofc, but also narratively for us as readers. we dont know for sure where the story will go, but i think its pretty agreed upon that this is a redemption arc that plans to maintain endvore as number one hero. if he is ejected it will likely be in a tragic death that completes his ‘redemption arc.’ but bnha’s hero system is flawed. this isnt just about endvores abuse, its about the fact that situations like it can and continue to thrive within this system. im not just mad about how bnha insists on redeeming endvore (who can build as many houses as he wants, and still wont deserve the forgiveness of his family), im mad about the narrative continuously breezing over the reasons endvore was able to do something like what he did in the first place. bnha as a story holds the greatest potential in demolishing its own hero system, and if it doesnt, it isn’t a good story imo.

also endvore can do literally anything he wants but unless he winds up in jail the story sucks. arguably even if he dies. ‘abuser redemption’ stories arent necessary or interesting lmao

Oh you meant from a narrative standpoint. In your original post I thought you were speaking literally, as such it sounded like you hadn’t seen all of the leaks. My mistake.

Read a slightly better translation and yeaaaaaah Natsuo’s feelings towards Endeavor are definitely going to change after this fight. It’s literally the first time he has ever received warmth from his dad, and it’s because he was apparently scared shitless for Natsuo’s life.

Hori making some wild choices with this mini arc.

all personal feelings aside, that seems like it was a rly anticlimactic ending for what couldve been such an interesting set up

Couldn’t agree more. This whole situation just seems bizarre now.

  • BNHA 251 spoilers (rough summary)

bakugou, todoroki, and midoriya rushes out from the vehicle “kacchan” “todoroki-san” midoriya throws the box with their hero costumes and their equipments out towards the two rushing out. midoriya wears his gloves. todorki wears his battle vest. bakugou wears his explosion glove thingy. (im gonna assume) todoroki concentrates his powers into one point, then blasts it. ending says “quickly kill me! the people dying will add up!” as he throws the vehicle into the air with bandages. bakugou stategicslly uses the explosion from the thrown vehicle to bounce back, saving natsuo. midoriya uses smash’s power to explode ul into the air. remembering endeavor’s teachings, he uses the black whip quirk thong to return the airborne vehicle back to the ground. “your wish wont be granted!” midoriya lands, as todoroki attacks the enemy. endeavor hugs natsuo and bakugou close to him, with a surprised expression.

    GOD ALTERNATE THIEF!TAKAMI THEORY…….

what if it was like…a set-up… if hawks didn’t have a a guardian who could take care of him or make decisions for him… if a capable guardian was removed… we never rly did get told how hawks came to be so “indebted” to the hero commission… 👀👀👀

That doesn’t fit the timeline. Hawks was recruited to be a hero when he was a small child. Endeavor apparently caught the thief named Takami 7 years ago (meaning Hawks would be 16 and already a hero in training).
